Heaven gained a radiant and hardworking soul as Max Charles Voichahoske, age 21, of Fullerton, Nebraska, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026. His passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the close-knit community that knew and cherished him. This obituary honors a young man whose life was defined by faith, dedication to agriculture, and an unwavering love for family.
Max was born on July 30, 2004, in Albion to Charles “Chuck” and Heidi (Wagner) Voichahoske. From an early age, he was rooted in strong values, having been baptized and later confirmed in the Catholic faith. He carried these beliefs with him throughout his life, shaping the way he treated others and approached his work and passions. Max graduated from Fullerton Public Schools in 2023, where he was actively involved in track, football, FFA, and the F Club. His energy, determination, and team spirit made him a respected and admired presence among his peers.
Following high school, Max attended Northeast Community College, earning an associate degree in agriculture in 2025. His love for farming was more than a career path—it was a calling. He returned home to farm alongside his family, dedicating himself to the land and livestock with pride and purpose. He also worked at the Fullerton Livestock Market, further contributing to the agricultural community he deeply valued.
Max is survived by his loving parents, Chuck and Heidi; his sister, Macy; his grandparents, Charlie and Alyce Wagner; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever treasure his memory. Known for his outgoing personality, Max found joy in the outdoors—whether deer hunting, building his cattle herd, or spending time with his beloved dog, Daisy. His enthusiasm for life was infectious, and his smile left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
His legacy lives on in the fields he tended, the lives he touched, and the faith community he held dear. Max’s life, though brief, was full of purpose, achievement, and love.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Palmer-Santin Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Fullerton. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the same location, followed by burial at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery. A celebration of life reception will follow the Mass. Those wishing to honor Max’s memory may contribute to the Fullerton FFA or the Church Youth Fund.
Max will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered for the faith, passion, and joy he brought into the world.
